BANNU: Two women, one man shot dead

BANNU, Dec 20: Two women were killed in the Sokarai Village on Thursday.

It is learnt that some unidentified persons entered the home of Noor Wali Khan and shot his wife, Sardara Bibi, and daughter, Naikdara, killing them.

An FIR was registered at the Cantonment police station.

A police official said that they were trying to ascertain the motive behind the killings.

Meanwhile, a man was killed and four others injured when some people opened fire at them here near Baizankhel Square.

Witnesses said a group of people, including an assistant lineman of Wapda, were installing an electricity pole when they were attacked by their rival group.

The firing resulted in the killing of Naqeebullah, whereas four others including the lineman were injured. People said the dispute between them arose over the placement of the electric pole.
