PESHAWAR, Oct 22: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam leaders on Monday called upon President Pervez Musharraf to withdraw support extended to the United States, and resolved to pursue a peaceful campaign against US attacks on Afghanistan.

Speaking at a rally, they condemned killing of innocent Afghans.

The JUI workers and students of religious institutions were holding pictures of Osama bin Laden and placards inscribed with anti-US and anti-government slogans.

The rally started from a mosque in the Pakha Ghulam village on the outskirts of Peshawar and terminated after marching through main roads.
