JACOBABAD, Dec 19: An independent candidate for NA-208 (Jacobabad) and sister of caretaker Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro, Ms Maleeha Malik, has said that people should reject “tyrants and plunderers” who had played havoc with lives of innocent people.

She was speaking at a gathering in Bahadpur village, here on Wednesday.

Mir Manzoor Khan Panhwar (PML-Q) who is contesting for PS-13, Dr Sohrab Sarki (PML-Q) for PS-15, and Naseer Khan Khoso (PML-F) vying for NA-209, were also present there.

She appealed to the people not to attend a PPP gathering scheduled for Thursday because, she claimed, the leaders of this party were not sincere with people.

Ms Maleeha said she believed in practical politics and not making any hollow promises.

She vowed the projects she had promised to carry out will be completed before Jan 8 and added that a few feudal lords had trapped the people of Jacobabad.
