Three women injured in blast

MANSEHRA, Dec 18: Three women were injured in a bomb blast outside the Frontier Constabulary’s headquarters in Oghi, some 25 kilometres from here, on Tuesday.

Police said the bomb which damaged the wall of the FC headquarters had been planted near a house.

The injured, Bibi Nasreen, her daughter and daughter-in-law, were taken to a local hospital. One of them was stated to be in critical condition.

Oghi, a tehsil of the Mansehra district, has been facing the threat of Talibanisation for some time. Last month the principal of a girls’ school received a letter demanding that veil be made compulsory for the students.
