SHIKARPUR, Dec 18: The government employees and other account holders have complained that because of money shortage, Main and sub-branches of the National Bank of Pakistan in Shikarpur failed to make payments against their cheques since last four days.
The government employees, pensioners and other account holders were facing problem. They also staged a protest demonstration here in front of the NBP’s branches on Tuesday.
Managers of the Main and sub-branches of the NBP clarified that the State Bank of Pakistan was delaying to fulfil the needs of accounts as demanded by bank management for making payments to account holders.
