Extortionists kidnap brothers

OKARA, March 31: A gang of proclaimed offenders on Sunday set ablaze valuables in a landlord’s house, killed cattle and took away three brothers.

According to details, some 24 POs stormed into the landlord’s farm house and demanded jagga tax. On refusal, they set ablaze valuables, shot dead cattle and took Shahmand, Nawaz and Arshad away.

Later, they set the brothers free after shaving off their eyebrows and moustache.
