Four PML(N) tickets awarded

CHAKWAL, Dec 11: Parliamentary board of PML(N) has awarded tickets to candidates for two National Assembly and four provincial assembly seats in Chakwal District.

Ayaz Amir has been awarded ticket to contest from NA-60, and to former MNA from PML(Q), Sardar Faiz Tamman to contest from NA- 61.

Similarly, Ifta Liaqat has been awarded ticket for PP-20, Malik Tanveer Aslam for PP-21, Pir Nisar Qasim for PP-22 and Col (retd) Sultan Surkhuru for PP-23.

Sardar Faiz Tamman, would face former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on NA-61.

Efforts were underway by PML(N) to make adjustment with PPP, and have a consensus candidate against Pervaiz Elahi.—APP
