SHIKARPUR, Dec 10: The police arrested two men near Yasin Wah bridge on Shikarpur-Garhi Yasin road on Sunday night and recovered 10 rounds of anti-aircraft gun, two TT pistols and a motorcycle from their possession, said DPO Mansoor Mughal.

He told journalists on Monday that after receiving information that two motorcyclists coming from Golodaro had arms and ammunition with them, he ordered the policemen to seal exit and entry points of the district and carry out snap checking. During the checking, the Garhi Yasin police made the arrests and recovery, he said

The official said that those arrested were identified as Ghulam Mohammad Jafri, resident of Shikarpur district, and Ali Mohammad Watni, resident of Khairpur district, both about 40 years of age. Both the men were uneducated villagers, he added.
