Army shine in National junior cycling

LAHORE, Dec 8: Army grabbed two more gold medals in order to strengthen their position with a total of four on day two of the first National junior cycling championship here on Saturday.

The third gold for Army came when they finished in 42 minutes and 41.17 seconds, followed by Railways and Punjab in the 30 kilometre Road team time trial.

Winning the elimination race, Naveed Iqbal earned the fourth gold for Army, followed by Sajad (Sindh) and Miran Baksh (Army).

Clinching one gold in the four kilometre individual pursuit, Sikander of Railways was the other winner of the day, clocking five minutes and 45.45 seconds.
