NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 8: A coach driver and a woman passenger were killed when dacoits opened fire at them while looting the passengers on National Highway near Moro, on Friday.

According to reports, the armed men stopped a Dera Ghazi Khan-bound coach near Moro.

They opened fire when the driver offered resistance as a result of which Shafiq Ahmed, son of Jan Mohammad Arain, resident of Jehanpur, DG Khan, and a passenger Muradan, wife of Allah Wasayo Banglani, resident of Rajanpur, district DG Khan, were killed on the spot.

The police reached there and shifted the bodies to Taluka Hospital Moro and later to their home town. Later, the police arrested two men, Mohammad Hassan Dahiri and Moula Bux Dahiri from village Umer Dahiri, taluka Doulatpur.

The Moro police lodged three separate FIRs against Dhani Bux Lund, Nazir Khoso, Amb Lund and two arrested accused Mohammad Hassan and Moula Bux under Section 17/4, 17/2 EHO and 326.

Two police officials were injured by the villagers when police raided their village and arrested the two accused.
