PESHAWAR: Dec 7: The NWFP government will take concrete steps to develop the agriculture and livestock sector, according to the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Hassamuddin Bangash.

He was talking to Vice-Chancellor of the Hazara University Prof Ehsan Ali, who called on him here on Friday. While discussing matters of mutual interest, the vice-chancellor briefed the minister on the affairs of his university.

During the meeting, various suggestions for collaboration between the university and the livestock department were discussed. The minister and the vice-chancellor decided to set up a joint committee for the purpose.

The minister said the caretaker government would take concrete measures to redress problems faced by the common man.—APP
