MITHI, Dec 5: Presidents PPP district and taluka Diplo Mahesh Kumar Malani and Mohammad Maeen Bajeer have urged the Election Commission to take notice of issuance of a large number of offer orders for primary teacher by the EDO Tharparkar.

The orders were issued in the first week of December but in the back date (11-10-07) in violation of prescribed rules i.e., after the announcement of election schedule, they contended.

In a press release issued here on Tuesday, both alleged that in violation of merit policy about 1,600 offer orders for teachers, chowkidar, Naib Qasid and other cadres were being distributed at Otaqs of former MNAs and MPAs as political gratification to acquire votes.

They further alleged the officials of health, police and revenue department of issuing fitness and character certificates to aspirant candidates after taking bribe. They demanded a probe into the matter.
