LAHORE, March 29: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has chalked out an elaborate programme to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Pakistan’s 1992 World Cup victory by holding a dinner on March 30.

The objective behind the celebration is to provide a morale booster and is a countdown for the 2003 World Cup to be held in South Africa.

Besides honouring stalwarts of 1992 team, PCB is also giving awards to Pakistan’s top performers in One-day internationals during the last three decades.

The chairman of Pakistan Test cricket golden jubilee committee will also announce the activities planned for the rest of the year in connection with the golden jubilee of Pakistan Test cricket.

The occasion will be an interesting and colourful affair. Multimedia projections will be used to show the gathering the glorious moments of the 1992 World Cup.

In addition to the 1992 team,  the  present  Pakistan team  and  other  cricketing personalities have also been invited from all over the country.
