QUETTA, Nov 28: Three members of the Frontier Corps were killed and five were injured when their convoy was ambushed by unidentified miscreants near Panjgur area of Makran on Wednesday.

Official sources said that the convoy was attacked near Tasp, a village in Panjgur.

The miscreants first hurled a hand-grenade and then opened fire with automatic weapons, killing the three FC men on the spot and injuring five others.

Police and other officials concerned reached the spot immediately after the incident and took bodies and the injured to the Panjgur hospital. The injured were later taken to Quetta.

Those killed in the ambush were identified as Lance Naik Mohammad Ayub, Lance Naik Saleem Baloch and soldier Javed while the injured include Zahoor, Shafqat, Hasil Khan, Umar Zaeeb and Aftab.
