HEC outclass Balochistan

HYDERABAD, Nov 27: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) outclassed Balochistan 51-0 as five matches were decided in the National Women’s basketball championship at the Hyderabad Club on Monday.

Binish top scored with 15 points for the HEC.

In another match, Wapda overcame NWFP 37-6. Umme Laila and Sehrish scored 15 and eight points respectively for the winners.

Wapda in their other match defeated Sindh Blues 41-9. Laila and Mahreen scored 16 and eight points respectively.

Sindh Blues defeated Islamabad 24-15.

Hina scored 13 while Jamila eight points for Sindh Blues.

Punjab beat Sindh Whites with scores of 43-8 and qualified for the second round.

Najia Bhatti of Punjab played outstandingly to grab 16 points while Talat Yasmeen scored 10 points.

Sindh’s Madeeha and Sana claimed two points each.
