Pakistan golf squad leaves for Delhi

LAHORE, Nov 26: A 15-member Pakistan golf for New Delhi, India on Monday to compete for Ravi Kirloskar Trophy, an annual event between the two neighboring countries to be held there from Wednesday to Friday.

A special feature of this event is that it is being played on Ryder Cup basis and team composition comprises four players of national ranking, four players in the 40 to 50 years age group and four in the above 50 years age group.

The Pakistan team will play a practice round at the Jay Pee Green Golf Course, Noida, Uttarperdesh, on Tuesday.

Team: National players: Aadil Jahangir, M. Safdar, Danyaal Jehangir, Tariq. 40 - 50 years: Dr. Aimal Zaman, Waqar Saigol, Fakkhar Imam, Maj. Shoaib. Above 50 years: Taimur Hassan Amin, Imran Ahmed, Javed A. Khan and AVM Abbas Mirza.

Three delegates accompanying the team are Aslam R. Khan, Arshad Mehmood, Wing Cmdr. Iftikhar A. Khan.
