LAHORE, Nov 25: Toba Tek Singh and Lahore have entered the final of the Punjab Inter-district Under-17 hockey tournament here on Sunday.

After leading by 3-2 at half time, Toba Tek Singh defeated Vehari by 4-2 in the first semi-final. Dawood two and Dilwar and Rizwan struck one goal each for the winners.

By the end of regulation time in the second pre-final, Lahore and

Sheikhupura found themselves were tied at 2-2. The match had to be decided on penalty strokes when Lahore cashed in on three out of five while Sheikhupura could only manage two.

The final will be played on Monday. Vehari and Sheikhupura will play the match to decide the third position.
