KHAIRPUR, Nov 18: The grandson of the custodian of Dargah Halejvi Sharif, Saifullah, and his servant were rescued from kidnappers near Priyaloi, Kingri taluka on Saturday.
Reports said that Saifullah, 12, grandson of Maulana Abdul Samad Halejvi and his servant, Abdul Ghani Kandhar, were going to Priyaloi town on a motorcycle when seven armed men kidnapped them near Bindi Kandhar and snatched the motorbike from them.
Local people encircled the area and a gun-battle took place between the armed men and villagers near Odhar turn.
The armed men left both the hostages but injured Abdul Ghani before fleeing.
