Rehman shines in schools cricket

KARACHI, Nov 17: Baba Fareed Secondary defeated Shaheen Public by 39 runs in a PCB National School Cricket Championship (Karachi Region) match at the TMC Ground on Friday.

Leg-spinner Mohammad Rehman captured four wickets for 24 in his 7.5 overs to spin Baba Fareed Secondary to victory.

Sent in to bat first, Baba Fareed Secondary were dismissed for 140 on the penultimate ball of the 40th over. Mohammad Adeeb hit three fours in his 27 while his fellow opener Nadeem KK got 26 as they gave a 61-run start to their team. Off-spinner Mohammad Zubair took three wickets for 14 in his 3.5 overs.

Shaheen Public, in reply, were bowled out for 101 in 28.5 overs.
