SANGHAR, Nov 17: Twenty students were injured when the roof of a primary school’s classroom in village Masti Khan, near Tando Adam, district Sanghar, caved in on Saturday.

Fifty students were studying in the classroom when the roof collapsed, resulting in injuries to 20 students.

The villagers rushed to the spot for help.

Taluka Nazim Tando Adam Ghulam Murtaza Junejo also reached there.

People pulled out the injured students from the debris and shifted them to the taluka hospital, where emergency was declared.

The DCO has ordered inquiry into the incident and district nazim Haji Khuda Bux Rajar has been called for a detailed report about all the school buildings.

The school, which constructed in 1986, was in precarious condition as a room of it had been collapsed earlier.
