KARACHI, Nov 15: Beaconhouse players proved their excellence by claiming the table tennis (boys) and badminton (girls) titles in the second JUC Inter-school badminton/table tennis tournaments on Thursday.

Beaconhouse Cambridge PECHS overcame defending champions Fahims O levels 3-2 in the final played at JUC premises to pick up the boys table tennis crown.

The girls’ title in the event went to The City School PAF Chapter who blanked Mama Parsi School 3-0 to retain the title.

Foundation Public School inflicted straight 2-0 defeat on the City School Gulshan Campus to claim boys’ badminton title.

In the all Beaconhouse final, jubilee Campus got the better of its Cambridge PECHS section 2-0 to land girls’ title.

The president, Pakistan Table Tennis Federation, S. M. Sibtain, who graced the occasion, awarded trophies and cash prizes to the winners.
