Death warrants for convict

GUJRANWALA, Nov 14: The Anti-Terrorism Court No 1 issued death warrants for a prisoner on death row on Wednesday and fixed Nov 27 for his execution.

Aurangzeb and Mazhar, of Mandi Bahauddin, were sentenced to death by the Anti-Terrorism Court No 1. Later, the Lahore High Court commuted their sentence from death to life. The Supreme Court commuted the life term of Aurangzeb to death sentence. The president also rejected a mercy appeal by the accused.

ROAD ACCIDENT: Two cousins were killed in a road accident near Qila Mian Singh.

Ishtiaq Ahmad and Waqas Ahmad were travelling on a motorcycle. On Hafizabad Road, their bike slipped and they fell into a ditch. They sustained critical injuries and died on way to hospital.
