PESHAWAR, Nov 10: NWFP Home Minister Shahzada Gastasip Khan has urged the community of teachers to keep in mind the high ideals of their profession.

He asked teachers to concentrate on the character building of their pupils so that they might play their role in the uplift of the country.

This he said while talking to an eight-member delegation of the All Primary Teachers Association, NWFP, who called on him under the leadership of its provincial president Malik Khalid Khan at his office here on Saturday.

Members of the delegation, including Haji Yousaf Khan, Irfanullah Khalil, Azizullah, Haseeb-ur-Rehman Pirzada, Inamullah Khan, Kamran Khurram and Ishtiaq Ahmad, informed the minister about their problems relating to their service structure. They demanded a quick resolution of their problems.

The minister gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that a meeting of the concerned high-ups would be convened soon to resolve their problems.—APP
