Inter-school TT finals on Nov 15

KARACHI, Nov 8: The Foundation Public School, Beaconhouse PECHS, Mama Parsi School and The City School PAF Chapter cruised into the boys and girls team event finals with imposing victories over their opponent’s in the second Jinnah University College Inter-school Table Tennis Championship on Thursday.

Foundation beat Fahims O level 3-1 to set a date with Beaconhouse PECHS who in the other pre-final blanked The City School PAF Chapter 3-0 in the boys’ team event.

In girls, Mama Parsi School continued their winning run when they struggled to beat Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus 3-2 while The City School PAF Chapter carved out 3-1 win over Beaconhouse PECHS.

Both the finals will be played on Nov 15.

Meanwhile, Inter-school boys and girls badminton championship begins at the JUC premises from Monday.

Boys’ team event (quarter-finals):

Foundation Public School bt Avicenna School 3-1; The City School PAF Chapter bt The City School Gulshan 3-0; Beaconhouse PECHS bt Beaconhouse Secondary Branch 3-0; Fahims O level bt Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus 3-0.

(Semi-finals): Foundation Public School bt Fahims O level 3-1; Beaconhouse PECHS bt The City School PAF Chapter 3-0.

Girls’ team event (quarter-finals):

Mama Parsi School bt JUC 3-0; The City School PAF Chapter bt The City School Darakshan Campus 3-2; Beaconhouse PECHS bt Beaconhouse Secondary Branch 3-1; Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus bt The City School Gulshan 3-1.

(Semi-finals): Mama Parsi School bt Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus 3-2; The City School PAF Chapter bt Beaconhouse PECHS 3-1.
