4 civilians injured in blasts

QUETTA, Nov 6: Four people were injured seriously in bomb and landmine explosions in Sibi and in the Sui area of Dera Bugti, on Tuesday.

According to police sources, an explosive device planted near Jirga Hall in Sibi went off in the afternoon, injuring two people, Rub Nawaz and Mohammad Nadeem.

Windowpanes of the hall and nearby building were shattered by the powerful blast that rocked the township.

A tractor trolley was blown up in Lanjo Seghari area of Sui tehsil, injuring two persons.

Meanwhile, an armed group entered the camp of a government contractor Musa Dinari Bugti in Kachhi canal area and kidnapped his 12 labourers on gunpoint.

The gunmen later freed the labourers but blew up three tractors, a jeep and a petrol tanker.
