KARACHI, Nov 6: Islamabad bid to maintain their winning sequence when the fourth round of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy National Cricket Championship starts from Wednesday with 10 fixtures spread across the country.

Islamabad, who top Group ‘B’ with an unblemished record, will try to make four wins out of four as they take on bottom-placed ZTBL. PIA, currently lying second in the standings, have a great chance of closing the gap on the leaders since they face a weakened Peshawar side.

National Bank, meanwhile, are poised to increase their tally of points in Group ‘A’ as they meet Multan, who lost to Wapda by innings in the previous round.

Wapda themselves can also move up if they beat Faisalabad. Karachi Whites are capable of increasing Sialkot’s misery in their clash at the National Stadium. Sialkot’s last two games ended in innings defeats.

Schedule (Nov 7-10):

Karachi Whites v Sialkot at National Stadium, Karachi (umpires: Mian Aslam and M. Akbar Khan; match referee: Ilyas Khan).
