HYDERABAD, Nov 5: A meeting of different alliances of peasants and workers, convened under the aegis of the South Asia Partnership, Sindh Chapter has announced the formation of the Sindh Hari Mazdoor Mahaz, here on Monday.

The meeting resolved to fight for the rights of peasants and workers at provincial level under this forum by launching a move for land reforms and legislations of new Tenancy Act.

A provincial committee was constituted electing Taj Bheel Provincial Convener, Gul Hassan Abro Deputy Convenor, Mohammad Ishaque Bhutto General Secretary and Rasheed Sand Deputy General Secretary.

The meeting decided to send memorandums to President, Prime Minister, and Sindh Governor regarding their problems in the first phase, while in second press conferences, demonstrations and hunger strikes will be organised with a movement for land reforms and legislation of Tenancy Act, decided in the third.

Later, a joint meeting of different peasant and worker alliances of Sindh and Balochistan was held which decided to launch a joint struggle.
