Two women among three peddlers

KASUR, Nov 3: The Pattoki police claimed to have arrested three drug pushers, including two women, and recovered hashish and liquor from their possession on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police party, headed by Sadar SHO Haji Abdul Aziz, raided the den of Bushra Bibi and recovered 185 bottles of liquor. The police also seized 2kg hashish from Muhammad Saleem and his wife Rabia.

LOOTED: Four robbers deprived two motorcyclists of cash, cell phones and other valuables at Kacha Paka village (Chak 43) on Saturday.

Reports said that Muhammad Sarwar and Ali Muhammad were on their way home from Sarai Mughal to Kacha Paka village when armed men stopped them near their village. The bandits snatched from them Rs12,000 in cash, cell phones, a wristwatch and a gold ring, and thrashed them on resistance before fleeing.

Sarai Mughal police are going into the matter.
