KARACHI, Oct 31: Elections for the office-bearers of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, will be held on December 16, according to a spokesman for the council.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the council’s governing body chaired by Saifur Rehman Grami, a senior member, on Tuesday, the spokesman said on Wednesday.

He said that before the election, the general body would hold a session in which the council’s honorary secretary would present the annual report.

The meeting also condoled the death of its members during this year, the spokesman said.
