Man hurt for challenging robbers

LAHORE, Oct 29: Two robbers shot at a man when he put up resistance in the Millat Park area on Monday. Police said unidentified robbers held Akbar and Usman, both friends, near Puranee Thanaywali graveyard at gunpoint and demanded cash and cell phones from them.

When Akbar resisted the move, they opened fire on him and took away his cell phone. Akbar was shifted to Services Hospital with leg injury. The police registered a case.

Three robbers stopped a man near Bus Stop 23 on Multan Road and deprived him of his wallet and a cell phone. Two robbers snatched cash and cell phone from another man on Main Ferozepur Road, the Kahna area.

Two armed men stopped a citizen at Yasrab Colony in Shad Bagh and deprived him of Rs25,000 and a cell phone.
