RAWALPINDI, Oct 26: Former prime minister Benazir Bhutto would visit Punjab next month, said local leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) here on Friday.

Speaking to party workers at a meeting, Atif Kiani, a PPP candidate from NA-56, said that office-bearers of the party were planning an ecstatic welcome to Ms Bhutto.

Condemning the Karachi carnage, Mr Kiani said that the attack on PPP rally was an engineered attempt to stop Ms Bhutto from mass contact campaign. Foreign experts should be invited to probe the incident.
