Khurram named to lead Sindh shooters

KARACHI, Oct 23: Olympian Khurram Inam has been named to lead a 21-member Sindh squad in the 16th National shooting championship, starting at the Islamabad Shooting Range from Oct 29, the Sindh Shooting Association announced on Tuesday.

The squad is selected after two-day trials which concluded at the Sindh Shooting Range on Monday.

The Sindh marksmen are undergoing training at the same place.

Sindh finished third behind Navy and Army with two gold, five silver and four bronze medals in the last competition.

Khurram Inam (captain), Amin Karamat, Ahmed Sultan, Hamza Amin, Bilal Ahmed Khan, Dr Naveed Shah, Usman Sadiq, Mahmood Sultan, Babar Latif, Shujaat Sherwani, Khurram Inam, Bilal Ahmed, Naveed Javari, Hamza Amin, Abdullah Iraqi, Shahzad Abdullah, Mohammad Yasin, Imtiaz Barakzai, Mohammad Ali Iraqi, Tipu Sultan, Dr Hussaini, Farhan Siddiqui.
