Another blast victim dies

SHIKARPUR, Oct 23: One more injured of Karachi bomb blasts expired at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi, late on Monday night.

Mour Ali, 22, son of Naseer Mohammad Naseerani of Shikarpur, was injured in the bomb blasts in Ms Benazir Bhutto’s welcome procession in Karachi and was admitted to the Jinnah Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

PPP MPA Agha Taimoor Khan and district president brought his body to Shikarpur for burial.

He was laid to rest in Chhinni graveyard after offering Namaz-i-Janaza at Shaheed Qayoom Mangi chowk Qila Qafila on Tuesday.

A large number of PPP leaders, workers and other people attended the Namaz-i-Janaza.

Our Khairpur correspondent adds: A body of the bomb blasts victim was brought from Karachi and laid to rest at his village Ghar Pahenja, near Sami town, taluka Sobhodero.

Ali Mohammad, 45, son of Hamid Mallah, was injured in Oct 18 midnight bomb blasts and was under treatment at a private hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday evening.

The body was brought to his ancestral village and was laid to rest late on Monday night.

A large number of PPP workers, office-bearers, citizens and relatives attended his funeral prayers.

PPP taluka president Allah Warayo Channa told reporters that the Soyem of Ali Mohammad will be held on Wednesday in Sami town.
