HYDERABAD, Oct 22: Angry protesters forced closure of shops at Sabzi Mandi roundabout in the jurisdiction of Hali road police station here on Monday evening after a 40 year old woman was crushed under the wheels of a speeding truck.
The woman who was identified as Sabira wife of Abdul Ghafoor who was crushed by a speedy truck (PKG-355). She died on the spot. She was resident of Mujahid hotel Latifabad unit-8. Angry people came out on the roads and detained the truck. The truck driver reportedly escaped. Protesters pelted stones on vehicles and shops. No case was so far lodged.
