SWABI, Oct 18: Three people, including a woman and her son, were killed in different incidents on Thursday.

Tahir Ali, who hailed from Bamkhel village, was attacked by his rivals when he was going to his home. He died on the spot.

Police said that the cause of the killing was a dispute over a marriage proposal.

Police registered an FIR against Said Azam, Perwar Khan and Rais Khan. The accused fled the area.

In Yaqaubi village of Yar Hussian, a woman and her son suffered serious burn injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in their house. They were taken to a hospital in Peshawar, but they died midway.

The victims were identified as wife of Mohammad Zahoor and Sabz Ali.
