RAWALPINDI, Oct 10: A bailiff appointed by the district and sessions judge (DSJ) here on Wednesday recovered three children from the custody of their father and handed them over to their mother.

DSJ Mian Khadim Hussain appointed Malik Lal as bailiff to recover Matiur Rehman, 6, Makhsoosur Rehman, 4, and Fariha, 2, from their father Mehmood Ahmed after his wife Zahara Bibi sought their custody.

The bailiff on Wednesday with the help of the area police raided the house of Mr Ahmed in Aswa Sattian in Kahuta and recovered the children. He handed them over to their mother who in her petition stated that she was married to Ahmed eight years ago and was leading a happy life.

It was some two months ago the trouble started after her in-laws started interfering in her domestic life. She said three days ago her husband threw her out of his house and took away the children. The judge asked both parties to appear before the court on October 12 for further proceedings.— A Reporter
