LAHORE, Oct 4: Presidential hopeful Justice Wajihuddin (retired) is set to address lawyers at the Lahore Bar Association (LBA) here on Friday (today).

According to a statement issued here, lawyers will accord a warm welcome to the former judge and bring him to Aiwan-i-Adl in the form of a procession. Supreme Court Bar Association President Munir A Malik and Pakistan Bar Council member Ali Ahmad Kurd will also address the LBA general house.

The statement welcomed Justice Falak Sher’s remarks about Gen Pervez Musharraf’s eligibility for the presidential election. “Gen Musharraf should quit the presidential race and this would be the right thing for him to do,” the statement said. —Reporter
