Pak Oman Brokerage Service launched

KARACHI, Oct 4: A shareholders agreement for the launch of Pak-Oman Brokerage Services Ltd was signed recently at a ceremony in Dubai.

The Pak-Oman Investment Co Ltd, a joint venture between the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of Pakistan, Metal Holding Investment of UAE and Vision Investment Services Company SAOC, engaged in asset management, brokerage and corporate finance in Sultanate of Oman were the signatories to the shareholders agreement.

According to a press release, the Pak Oman Brokerage Service Ltd will initially be launched as a private limited company and will soon go for dual listing.

Highlighting the success of Pak Oman Investment Company, chairman, Pak Oman Group of Companies, Yahya Said Al-Jabiri, said Pak Oman Brokerage Service Ltd would be “our third associate company”.

The company is currently in the expansion mode exploring various venues of business while escalating its niche in the financial sector.
