Bishop’s Club triumph

LAHORE, Oct 2: Bishop’s Club defeated New Age Club 39-38 on the opening day of the Ramazan floodlight basketball tournament at the Cathedral High School here on Monday.

The winners lost the first half 20-22. However, due to efforts of Pervez Younis, who scored 17 points, and Sajeel (12) the Bishop’s Club bounced back and won the match.

Michael (14) and Hashim (11) were the main scorers for the New Age Club.

In the other match of the day, Eagles Club earned an easy 47-9 win against Cathedral School-III.

Hasan (14) and Ali Raza (11) were the key scorers for the winners.
