LAHORE, Sept 27: Police on Thursday released four leaders and 15 activists of the All-Pakistan Democratic Movement (APDM) following the Supreme Court’s orders.

A capital city police source told Dawn that the released leaders included Senator Prof Sajid Mir, Pir Ejaz Hashmi and Liaquat Baloch.

The Supreme Court, in a suo motu action on Thursday, had directed the Punjab government to release all leaders, office-bearers and workers caught in a crackdown during the last few days.
