NAWABSHAH, Sept 24: Nawabshah District Nazim Faryal Talpur obtained a nomination form for the presidential election from the provincial election commission office in Karachi on Monday.

Ms Talpur, younger sister of former senator Asif Ali Zardari, said she would decide about contesting the election.The acting president of the Pakistan People’s Party, Nawabshah district, Ghulam Qadir Chandio, said the form had been obtained on the directives of the party leadership but the final decision would be taken by chairperson Benazir Bhutto.Party sources said Ms Talpur might be named the PPP’s candidate in a couple of days.
