KOHAT, Sept 22: Four people were killed in different incidents here on Saturday.

Police said that the body of a man was found in the Basid Khel area. The deceased, Mohammad Khan, had been missing for the last two days. His brother had lodged a report with the police two days ago that Mohammad Khan was mentally sick and had been missing.

Unidentified people gunned down a man outside his house. The deceased’s son said his father, Inam Gul, had just left their house for a bazaar when he heard sound of some gunshots. He said he rushed outside the house and found his father in the pool of blood.

He said they had no enmity with anyone.

In another case, a grazier was killed by the firing of his enemies. His landlord said in an FIR that Habibullah was busy working in the fields when Umar Gul, Khumar Gul, Nazar Ali Shah and Gul Mateen allegedly attacked him. Police have started investigation but not arrested anyone so far.

Another man was killed in Miangan colony. His identity could not be ascertained but he reportedly belonged to a cloth merchant family. The deceased’s relatives took his body to the remote area of the Kurram Agency for burial.
