GUJRANWALA, Sept 19: The local anti-terrorism court No 1 on Wednesday accepted a private complaint in the murder case of four people and issued notices to the accused and the police.

Reports said accused Muhammad Hayat, Khizer Hayat, Shahbaz Ahmad and Sajid of Khatala Sheikhan (Mandi Bahauddin) had killed Faiz Ahmad, Saifullah, Zulfikar and Jehangir of the same village over an old enmity about a month ago when they were on their way to cattle market in Kharian for buying animals.

Police had registered a case against the accused but later declared them innocent during investigation and released them.

Complainant Mumtaz Ahmad appeared in the ATC, pleading that the police wrongly excluded the nominated accused from the murder case which was against the law.

The court accepted his private complaint and issued notices to the accused and the police for next hearing.

FIA: A federal investigating agency (FIA) team on Wednesday arrested 45 more people from the Islamabad airport who were deported by the Turkish government.

Reports said these people were sent to Greece by human agents after receiving money from them a few months ago.

The Turkey border security force captured them and sent them to jail. Agency additional-director Hassain Asgher said raids were being conducted for the arrest of human agents of Gujranwala division.

As many as 42 people had already been arrested by the FIA from Islamabad airport a few days ago.
