3 abducted FC men reach home

BANNU, Sept 19: Three personnel of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) kidnapped by militants more than a month ago, reached home on Wednesday.

Although the personnel claimed that they had escaped from captivity, official sources said that they had been released by the militants in the tribal area adjacent to the Bannu district.

The militants had kidnapped four FC personnel along with their vehicle on July 31 near Bakakhel area. Shah Hussain was killed by the kidnappers while Najmul Hassan, Arshid Ali and Zameen Ali were confined somewhere in the tribal area.
