LAHORE, Sept 13: Shahbaz Khan of Punjab School, Lahore, (PSL) won all four events of the Under-16 Super competition in the 2nd Punjab inter-school swimming championship for boys at the Model Town Club pool on Thursday.

Though Atchison College, Lahore (ACL) annexed the overall trophy, Shahbaz stole the show winning the 50metre butterfly race, clocking 28.87 seconds, 100metre back-stroke (one min 17.46sec), 200metre breaststroke (3.06.10sec) and 200metre freestyle (2.25.24 sec), to help his school bag the runners-up trophy.

Nusrat Jahan Academy, Jhang (NJAJ) seized the third spot.

The events were held in Under-8, 10, 12, 14, Under-14 (Super Boys) and Under-16 (Super Boys). Some 200 swimmers from different schools, mainly of Punjab, took part in the contest.

Under-8:

50m freestyle: Ismail Najeeb (ACL) 42.61sec. 50m breaststroke: Ahmad Saeed (ACL) 58.41sec. 50m back-stroke: Rafey Sohail (Shapes Club) 56.08sec.

Under 10:

50m freestyle: Ahmad Kamran (Beaconhouse) 38.12sec. 50m breaststroke: Ans bin Zubair (PSL), 52.06sec. 50m back-stroke: Abdullah Bilal (ACL) 45.10sec.

Under-12:
