Two die, 13 injured in road crash

TOBA TEK SINGH, March 16: Two people were killed while 13 injured in a road crash between a wagon and a van late Saturday night.

A wagon (PE-5970) was on its way to Pir Mahal when it collided head-on with a van coming from the other side. The crash that took place near Kohal village left wagon driver Babar Saddique and passenger Bakhtawar dead and 13 other passengers injured.

The injured people were taken to different tehsil headquarters hospitals. Twelve of the injured people were identified as Sarwar, Nawab Din, Latif, Abdul Karim, Taj Din, Anwar, Noor Elahi, Ashraf Masih, Ashar Nisar, Jannat Bibi, Allah Rakha and Ghulam Fatima. —Correspondent
