LAHORE, Sept 7: Pakistan opener Imran Farhat has responded to the legal notice, issued to him by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for criticising its officials and national selection committee.

“I have sent a reply to the legal notice to both the PCB and its lawyer,” Imran told Dawn.

While levelling his allegations on the PCB officials and selectors, Imran had earlier also requested the board to release him from the players’ central contract. But the PCB, which has not yet accepted his request, sent him a legal notice through their legal advisor.

Imran is one of the four Pakistani players to have joined the Indian Cricket League (ICL), due to start from October, this year.
