PESHAWAR, March 15: The District Development Committee (DDC) Mansehra on Thursday approved 129 development schemes amounting to Rs54.8 million under Khushal Pakistan Programme.

Besides District Nazim Muhammad Azam Khan Swati, District Coordination Officer Mansehra Sahibzada Saeed Khan, TMOs of all three tehsils and heads of government departments attended the meeting held in Mansehra.

The meeting discussed the phase-wise programme and took a number of decisions in this connection.

Planning officer Zahir Shah explained at length the developmental strategy.

The meeting was informed that electrification schemes costing Rs12.2 million had been sent to Wapda for completion The district Nazim directed the DCO to complete necessary procedure for launching a vital Hazara water supply scheme for Mansehra which will cost Rs22.674 million.—APP
