LAHORE, Sept 6: Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik and all-rounder Shahid Afridi have donated all their income from the Twenty20 Cup in Nairobi to Uganda Cricket for the development of the game in African countries.

According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Media Director Ahsan Hameed Malik, the gesture of Shahid Afridi in the first match was followed by Shoaib Malik in the last game and it was much appreciated by Cricket Kenya, the sponsors of the tournament.

Pakistan won the tournament which also included Uganda, Bangladesh and hosts Kenya.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan team reached Johannesburg on Thursday to take part in the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup Championship starting from Sept 11.
