RAWALPINDI, Sept 6: An additional district and sessions judge here on Thursday issued non-bailable warrant of gang rape accused for not appearing in the court despite repeated summons.

Earlier the accused Jamil Ahmad had been granted bail from the Supreme Court but was not appearing in the court in spite of repeated summons.

According to the details mentioned in the charge-sheet against 10 accused, an FIR was lodged on 09-07-2006 under sections 354/109 PPC with the Chontra police station.

Accused Gulfam Akhtar reportedly kidnapped Parveen alias Shehnaz last year, on July 8, from Chakri Adda. The accused took her to a house where Raja Tauqeer and other accused raped her.

Irum Bibi, another accused, took the victim to a place from where she was kidnapped. Chaudhry Amir, Zafar Iqbal and Irum reportedly took the victim to the house of Qurban Shah in Moza Mujahid where Ameer Dad, Qurban Shah and Ghulam Haider also raped her.
